# Locus vs Deep Conversations

The clearest difference is update cadence: Deep Conversations at every 2 weeks against Locus's every 6 weeks. Locus's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locus sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Deep Conversations sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Locus ships an update every 6 weeks, Deep Conversations every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
