# AGKSoft vs Core

The clearest difference is rating: AGKSoft at 5.0 against Core's 1.4. Core's advantage is ratings volume (158 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AGKSoft holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Core has 158 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AGKSoft ships an update every 2 months, Core monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
