# Honest War vs Worldfront

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Honest War at none against Worldfront's 10. Honest War also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). Worldfront's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Worldfront sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Honest War asks for nothing beyond the download.

Honest War holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Worldfront has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Honest War ships an update every 3 weeks, Worldfront every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
