# MonokaiToolkit Pro vs Friend Kit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Friend Kit at every 3 days against MonokaiToolkit Pro's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MonokaiToolkit Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Friend Kit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MonokaiToolkit Pro ships an update weekly, Friend Kit every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
