# Retime vs StudyLog

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Retime at 72% against StudyLog's 0%. Retime also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days). StudyLog's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and StudyLog sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Retime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyLog has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Retime's written reviews are positive against 0% of StudyLog's.

Retime ships an update every 5 days, StudyLog every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
