# Notegpt vs Audio Transcription

The clearest difference is rating: Notegpt at 4.6 against Audio Transcription's 2.6. Notegpt also leads on ratings volume (788 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 26.0). Audio Transcription's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 26%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notegpt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Audio Transcription sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notegpt holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notegpt has 788 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Notegpt's written reviews are positive against 36% of Audio Transcription's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notegpt ships an update every 3 weeks, Audio Transcription fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
