# CustomPod vs Quick Capture

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CustomPod at 100% against Quick Capture's 74%. CustomPod also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Quick Capture's advantage is ratings volume (103 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CustomPod sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Quick Capture sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CustomPod holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Capture has 103 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of CustomPod's written reviews are positive against 74% of Quick Capture's.

CustomPod ships an update every 2 weeks, Quick Capture every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
