# Kimura vs BJJLINK

The clearest difference is rating: Kimura at 4.5 against BJJLINK's 3.9. BJJLINK's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kimura sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. BJJLINK asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kimura holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Kimura's written reviews are positive against 75% of BJJLINK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kimura ships an update fortnightly, BJJLINK weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
