# Kimura vs Ready to Roll

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ready to Roll at 100% against Kimura's 62%. Ready to Roll also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Kimura's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kimura sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Ready to Roll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $28.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ready to Roll holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kimura has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Kimura's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ready to Roll's.

Kimura ships an update fortnightly, Ready to Roll every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
