# Kimura vs Trainia

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trainia at weekly against Kimura's fortnightly. Kimura's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kimura sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Trainia sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kimura ships an update fortnightly, Trainia weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
