# Achievr vs LOCKR

The clearest difference is monetization model: Achievr at free with in-app purchases against LOCKR's subscription. Achievr also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (37% vs 18%). LOCKR's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Achievr sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and LOCKR sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LOCKR holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 553 and 342 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Achievr's written reviews are positive against 18% of LOCKR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Achievr ships an update weekly, LOCKR every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
