# Screw up! vs Screw Color

Screw up! and Screw Color both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Screw up!'s written reviews are positive against 31% of Screw Color's. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screw up! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Screw Color sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screw Color holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.1K and 2.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Screw up!'s written reviews are positive against 31% of Screw Color's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screw up! ships an update every 10 days, Screw Color every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
