# CheckMat vs ReChess

The clearest difference is update cadence: ReChess at every 4 days against CheckMat's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CheckMat sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ReChess sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CheckMat ships an update every 9 days, ReChess every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
