# Harmony vs Reptile Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Harmony at 4.7 against Reptile Tracker's 3.6. Harmony also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 7) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). Reptile Tracker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (60% vs 36%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Harmony sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Reptile Tracker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Harmony holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harmony has 10K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Harmony's written reviews are positive against 60% of Reptile Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Harmony ships an update every 6 days, Reptile Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
