# CloudMoon vs LDPlayer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CloudMoon at 79% against LDPlayer's 29%. CloudMoon also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.9) and ratings volume (702 vs 21). LDPlayer's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudMoon sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and LDPlayer sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CloudMoon holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudMoon has 702 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of CloudMoon's written reviews are positive against 29% of LDPlayer's.

CloudMoon ships an update every 11 days, LDPlayer fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
