# MindMap vs ConceptMap

The clearest difference is update cadence: ConceptMap at every 2 months against MindMap's every 6 months. MindMap's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindMap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ConceptMap sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindMap ships an update every 6 months, ConceptMap every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
