# PuttPro vs Swing Coach

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Swing Coach at 91% against PuttPro's 33%. Swing Coach also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 12). PuttPro's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PuttPro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Swing Coach sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swing Coach holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swing Coach has 3.4K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of PuttPro's written reviews are positive against 91% of Swing Coach's.

PuttPro ships an update every 5 days, Swing Coach every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
