# UBEK vs AsciiTapper

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: UBEK at 12.0 against AsciiTapper's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UBEK sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and AsciiTapper sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
