# Vogl vs LiveNote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LiveNote at 45 against Vogl's 5. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vogl sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and LiveNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveNote has 45 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Vogl ships an update fortnightly, LiveNote weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
