# Note AI vs Genogram Creator

The clearest difference is monetization model: Note AI at free with in-app purchases against Genogram Creator's subscription. Note AI also leads on ratings volume (660 vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Genogram Creator's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Genogram Creator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Genogram Creator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note AI has 660 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Note AI ships an update every 5 days, Genogram Creator every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
