# Grid vs PeerDrop

The clearest difference is update cadence: PeerDrop at every 2 days against Grid's every 2 months. Grid's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and PeerDrop sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid ships an update every 2 months, PeerDrop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
