# Grid vs ovTwo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ovTwo at none against Grid's 1. ovTwo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Grid's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. ovTwo asks for nothing beyond the download.

ovTwo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grid has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Grid ships an update every 2 months, ovTwo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
