# Trek Trkr vs Bro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bro at every 2 days against Trek Trkr's every 3 months. Bro also leads on iOS requirement (17 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trek Trkr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Bro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trek Trkr ships an update every 3 months, Bro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
