# FlipTimer vs Pivot

The clearest difference is device support: FlipTimer at 4 against Pivot's 2. FlipTimer also leads on iOS requirement (15 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipTimer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Pivot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipTimer ships an update every 5 weeks, Pivot every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
