# Lightning Camera vs Depthroom

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lightning Camera at every 2 weeks against Depthroom's every 6 weeks. Lightning Camera also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lightning Camera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Depthroom sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
