# FitHalo vs HanaPal

The clearest difference is update cadence: HanaPal at every 5 days against FitHalo's fortnightly. HanaPal also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FitHalo ships an update fortnightly, HanaPal every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
