# MathGPT vs Homework Helper

The clearest difference is rating: MathGPT at 4.8 against Homework Helper's 4.3. MathGPT also leads on ratings volume (6.1K vs 3) and chart position (#167 vs unranked). Homework Helper's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathGPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Homework Helper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MathGPT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathGPT has 6.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MathGPT ships an update fortnightly, Homework Helper daily. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
