# MathGPT vs Homework Helper

The clearest difference is update cadence: MathGPT at fortnightly against Homework Helper's every 3 months. MathGPT also leads on ratings volume (6.3K vs 7). Homework Helper's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathGPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Homework Helper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework Helper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathGPT has 6.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MathGPT ships an update fortnightly, Homework Helper every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
