# Starcrossed vs RateMyProfile

The clearest difference is update cadence: Starcrossed at every 5 days against RateMyProfile's every 2 weeks. Starcrossed also leads on chart position (#98 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Starcrossed sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and RateMyProfile sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Starcrossed ships an update every 5 days, RateMyProfile every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
