# Monlam Keyboard vs DeepSeek

The clearest difference is rating: Monlam Keyboard at 4.7 against DeepSeek's 3.9. DeepSeek's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Monlam Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DeepSeek has 12K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Monlam Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 52% of DeepSeek's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Monlam Keyboard ships an update every 12 months, DeepSeek every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
