# Yolk AI vs BuzzNotes

The clearest difference is rating: BuzzNotes at 4.9 against Yolk AI's 4.6. Yolk AI's advantage is ratings volume (186 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yolk AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and BuzzNotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BuzzNotes holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yolk AI has 186 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Yolk AI's written reviews are positive against 83% of BuzzNotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yolk AI ships an update every 3 days, BuzzNotes every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
