# Ge'ez vs EOTC Calendar

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EOTC Calendar at 100% against Ge'ez's 50%. EOTC Calendar also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Ge'ez's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EOTC Calendar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ge'ez has 30 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Ge'ez's written reviews are positive against 100% of EOTC Calendar's.

Ge'ez ships an update every 5 months, EOTC Calendar every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
