# Rooted Deeply vs Center Years

The clearest difference is monetization model: Center Years at free with in-app purchases against Rooted Deeply's subscription. Rooted Deeply's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rooted Deeply sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Center Years sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $119.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rooted Deeply against 5.0 for Center Years. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rooted Deeply has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
