# Parrot vs MathDistract

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MathDistract at 100% against Parrot's 45%. MathDistract also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Parrot's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 11) and chart position (#55 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parrot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and MathDistract sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MathDistract holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parrot has 17K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Parrot's written reviews are positive against 100% of MathDistract's.

Parrot ships an update every 6 days, MathDistract every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
