# Parrot vs OffBookly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OffBookly at 100% against Parrot's 45%. OffBookly also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Parrot's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 6) and chart position (#48 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parrot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and OffBookly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OffBookly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parrot has 18K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Parrot's written reviews are positive against 100% of OffBookly's.

Parrot ships an update weekly, OffBookly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
