# FotoCube vs Aside

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aside at every 3 days against FotoCube's every 2 weeks. FotoCube's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FotoCube sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Aside sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FotoCube ships an update every 2 weeks, Aside every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
