# PomoTask vs FlowState

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlowState at every 2 days against PomoTask's every 2 weeks. FlowState also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PomoTask sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FlowState sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PomoTask ships an update every 2 weeks, FlowState every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
