# PomoTask vs Simple Timer USA

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simple Timer USA at weekly against PomoTask's fortnightly. PomoTask's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PomoTask sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Simple Timer USA sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
