# Bible Chat® vs Behold

The clearest difference is update cadence: Behold at daily against Bible Chat®'s every 9 days. Behold also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). Bible Chat®'s advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Chat® sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Behold sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Behold holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Chat® has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bible Chat® ships an update every 9 days, Behold daily. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
