# VocalLink vs Earflow

The clearest difference is rating: Earflow at 5.0 against VocalLink's 1.9. Earflow also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). VocalLink's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VocalLink sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Earflow sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Earflow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VocalLink has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VocalLink ships an update fortnightly, Earflow every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
