# Iris vs AI Notes for Watch

The clearest difference is rating: AI Notes for Watch at 4.5 against Iris's 4.2. AI Notes for Watch also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Iris's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iris sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and AI Notes for Watch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Notes for Watch holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Iris's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI Notes for Watch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Iris ships an update every 8 days, AI Notes for Watch every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
