# GIM vs SAFE

The clearest difference is update cadence: SAFE at every 2 days against GIM's every 2 months. GIM's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GIM ships an update every 2 months, SAFE every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
