# Quick Capture vs Vox.md

Quick Capture and Vox.md both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Vox.md's written reviews are positive against 74% of Quick Capture's. Vox.md also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days) and device support (4 vs 1). Quick Capture's advantage is ratings volume (103 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Capture sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vox.md sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Quick Capture against 4.5 for Vox.md. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Capture has 103 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Quick Capture's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vox.md's.

Quick Capture ships an update every 10 days, Vox.md every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
