# ShredMap vs TNE Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShredMap at every 3 days against TNE Connect's weekly. ShredMap also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). TNE Connect's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ShredMap against 5.0 for TNE Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TNE Connect has 49 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ShredMap ships an update every 3 days, TNE Connect weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
