# Persist vs Soono

The clearest difference is ads: Soono at none against Persist's shown. Persist's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Persist sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Soono sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Persist ships an update every 2 days, Soono every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
