# Scrolls vs Fliq

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scrolls at none against Fliq's 4. Scrolls also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). Fliq's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fliq sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Scrolls asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Scrolls against 5.0 for Fliq. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrolls has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scrolls ships an update monthly, Fliq weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
