# Salon Cheval vs FREYA

The clearest difference is update cadence: FREYA at every 6 weeks against Salon Cheval's every 3 months. Salon Cheval's advantage is device support and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Salon Cheval ships an update every 3 months, FREYA every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
