# Pixie vs Doodli

The clearest difference is rating: Doodli at 5.0 against Pixie's 4.6. Pixie's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixie sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Doodli sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doodli holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixie has 40 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Pixie ships an update weekly, Doodli every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
