# Timr vs Shooting Assistant

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shooting Assistant at every 2 days against Timr's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.69 per month and Shooting Assistant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timr ships an update weekly, Shooting Assistant every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
