# Animezilla vs Anime Cloud Z

The clearest difference is rating: Anime Cloud Z at 3.9 against Animezilla's 2.4. Anime Cloud Z also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 months). Animezilla's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 13%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animezilla sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Anime Cloud Z sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anime Cloud Z holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 145 and 675 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Animezilla's written reviews are positive against 13% of Anime Cloud Z's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Animezilla ships an update every 3 months, Anime Cloud Z daily. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
